WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS PLAY ABOUT? . . . Well, with just the proper amounts of existential conundrums mixed with healthy doses of belly laughing ruckus, 3 archetype characters take on the parabolic essences of Queen Boudica, Sir Walter Raleigh, and William Shakespeare. Being in a distant compartment of time, absurdly caught in what might be likened to a cosmic birdcase, they are being invited to the Wedding Banquet for the very last time.
This strange tale of Beckett-like proportions starts with a perilous journey capturing the essence and distillation of the human condition and…ends at 9:00pm every night.
*The AfterMingle is our way of inviting everyone to stick around after the show and hang out with the cast and crew. It is also our way of raising awareness and support for the upcoming Truth and Regeneration Movement (TRM25). We are currently in the planning stages of the TRM national tour, where we hope to produce and tour COM·PLIC·IT and Handcuffed in 2025-26. There will be a number of ways to get involved, administratively, casting, planning, financially, volunteering, you name it. So, we hope you stick around for an enchanted evening filled with food and libations, raffles, silent auction, and innovative theatre.
