Harrison Maynard-Doyon

Harrison Maynard-Doyon has been involved in performing arts for nigh on 9 years. Starting his practice of stage performance in High school, he has had leading and supporting roles in various plays and musicals, he has also spent time off the stage working with friends on short films and skits. 

After leaving high school with the basic understanding of stage acting, Harrison had wanted to expand his toolkit as an actor, and gain a better understanding of the art for both the stage and the silver-screen, he decided to enroll in the theatre program offered by Douglas college. While attending he studied various classic playwrights, and their methods for acting, in addition to he also studied movement and stage choreography, along with Voice work. Harrison has since used the  Stanislavski method in his work since he departed Douglas, but he has also been inspired by contemporary actors, his main inspirations are Matthew McConaughey, Viggo Mortensen, and Robin Williams.

Harrison had his involvement with Youtheatre begin with connections, he had attended Douglas the same year as Elijah Bamberry, and through the class the two were able to get to know one another. After Douglas, Harrison had worked with several of his classmates including Elijah on some of the short films he was working on outside of Douglas, afterwards Lee Jay Bamberry had reached out offering Harrison several supporting and understudy roles in "Handcuffed" which ran from March to May 2024, and was later brought back to understudy for the main antagonist in "From Now to Then".  Harrison is now set to be on board for Youtheatre's upcoming trilogy, and has long looked forward to the opportunity of playing a character in "COM-PLI-CIT".
