AN EVENING OF ONE ACTS
JERICHO ARTS CENTRE | FEBRUARY 13-16, 2025
CLICK HERE FOR TICKETSCLEMENCY – a One act play that centres on the moral principles that govern a person’s or group’s behavior in Judeo-Christian terms. Within a Justice system that prosecutes and sentences a person who commits the most heinous crime of child murder is there reason for leniency? This is subject matter that probes moral conscience about the principles of right and wrong behavior and the goodness or badness of human character.
Written by: Kenneth ScottPROBLEM WITH FREEDOM – Is there a problem with freedom? Everything is fine and dandy until rude remarks are being flung like spaghetti and feelings are tramped on by a herd of king ignoramuses.
Victor and Dirk are on trial and facing a near death penalty for the so called treasonous thoughts they are thinking. They quickly realize their lives hang in the balance of a rigged system.
This original dark comedy is being showcased during an “Evening of One Acts”, at the Jericho Arts Centre.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A WAY TO SUPPORT THE WORK?
Is Theatre Dangerous?
Theatre is not a building. Nor is it a place with a stage and seating called a “theater”.
It is an experience. It is a magical environment inspired by a company of artists who create a place where spectators are able to imagine freely, letting the metaphysical permeate and do its job. Theatre is where society comes to think about things, discuss with themselves deeper propositions about life and reality, ponder a moment or ponder a mile, smile, cuss, and perhaps furl our brow; and although we may be confronted, even conflicted of what we think and feel about reality, when it’s all said and done – we will all come away a little changed…that’s the hope anyway.
