TRAINING WITH BITE.
Youtheatre Training equips its players under fire with hands-on, practical experience. We bring on trainees who want to learn while in touring production. From the early dramaturg sessions, pre-production meetings, rehearsals, tech runs, understudy, performance, our troupe covers all aspects of a touring theatre company: moveable set, props, costume, hair & make-up, lights, sound, and stage management.

What to expect
- Weekly training blocks in movement, voice, and text rooted in Stanislavski practice.
- Placement on a national tour leg with real audiences—schools, community venues, and theatres.
- Mentorship on navigating difficult content around trauma, addiction, and reconciliation responsibly.
- Opportunities to shadow directing, stage management, and technical roles.
What we look for
- A genuine desire to serve communities, not just "be on stage".
- Willingness to tour, share accommodation, and hold space for others in hard conversations.
- Openness to feedback and the physical demands of live performance.
This is not a classroom. This is the art and discipline of traveling theatre. Trainees learn by actively participating in mounting a national touring production—from early dramaturgical sessions to the final curtain call on the road.
